Oh my, I'd love to hear you sing Lucia. I heard Pelleas et Melisande for the first time when my roommate was writing a paper on the opera, and man is it good. You've got quite an impressive list! I hope I get to here some of those at the Met. ;)

How exciting! Thinking about new rep is so much fun. Your post here is coincidental in that, just this week, my teacher and I managed to get some sounds out of me that he said were the "best (i.e., fullest) I've heard yet." Although I just sang Konstanze, I learned that, really, I'm probably more of a Blonde, at least right now, at least in larger houses than where I sang. But, maybe there's a bigger voice in there for me too.

You mention Anne Trulove and Sophie (in your old list)--those have been suggested to me too lately. I don't know about you, but for me, it's really difficult getting past this conceptualization of "my small, slender voice"... despite Konstanze...lol.

Happy exploring! =)
